The Covid Cup, Gosfield Lake GC, Sunday 9th April, hosted by Clive Saunders

On a beautifully sunny Easter Sunday, 23 Fat Cats golfers that could escape family commitments (or Covid!) played the soft but reasonable condition Gosfield course.

Winner on the day with 37pts was Tommy “Tiger” Paxton (only player to get a handicap cut!), 2nd was Mick Eaves 36pts ahead of Steve Williams 34pts on countback. Mick Eaves secured the 2 NP points & our able host Clive Saunders awarded other NP prizes to John Brown, Andy Royal & Steve Williams. All to play for after the 2nd round of the season!
